Hi, I’d like to buy but the shipping to the UK is expensive! Is there any UK distribution?
Hi Surfergrl, and thanks for the interest in Trout Rising. At this time there is no UK distribution set up, but I hope this changes in the coming months as reviews come out in the Irish and UK magazines. You can log onto Trout’s facebook sight as a friend and in the next week or so I’m going to set up the Paypal account to offer a discount on the purchase of the book for facebook friends. That’s the best I can do for now, as the shipping costs are what it cost me to ship the book.

Aloha jg! I just posted a book to you today. If you can use paypal for the order (the old postage rate on my site to Australia should be listed there) that would cover the cost of the postage. The book itself is on me. I don’t know why the postage to Oz and Europe has gone up so much in recent years–the delivery time certainly has not changed. I sent a book to Northern Ireland and it took over 2 months to get there. They told me 3 weeks for your book. In the meantime, I’ll keep posting on Facebook in the hopes of drumming up some orders. It’s one thing to put on the writer’s hat and bang out the words, and another thing entirely to put on the sombrero of self-promotion and try to sell the public on those words. I think the temperament needed to do the former conflicts with the latter. But, as you well know yourself, that’s the way it is. Take care and thanks for the words of encouragement.
